Removal Services

Tree Removal is a specialized service based on the age of the existing tree and the soil conditions. Our team is able to remove trees and plants that have been in ground for less than 6 months and have a less than 2 inch caliper. Charges for this service vary and will be determined on site upon evaluation by a Fruit Trees Only Team Member.



Terms of Service for Plant Removal Services


Effective Date: January 1, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all plant removal services (“Services”) provided by Fruit Trees Only (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) to the customer (“Client” or “Homeowner”) and are in addition to our general website and sales terms. By scheduling or accepting plant removal services, the Client agrees to the following:


1. Call Before You Dig (811) - Utility Marking Requirement

Before any plant removal can occur, the Client is required to contact Florida’s 811 service (“Sunshine 811”) to have all underground utility lines marked. This service is free and can be reached by dialing 811 at least 2 full business days prior to removal. This requirement applies to all services provided in St. Johns County, Florida, and may apply in other service areas as well. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure utility marking has occurred and that visible utility markings are present on the property before work begins. If utility marking has not been completed, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel removal without penalty to the Company.



2. Liability Waiver


While we take every precaution to ensure safe and damage-free plant removal:

  • The Company is not liable for any property damages.
  • The Company is not responsible for pre-existing soil, irrigation, or structural issues on the property.
  • The Client assumes full responsibility for verifying local regulations, HOA rules, and requirements prior to having any trees removed from their property.



3. Guarantees

  • No guarantee is expressed or implied for the health of the plant that is removed from your property.
  • No guarantee is expressed or implied regarding our team's ability to remove the tree from your property. Certain trees may have larger than managable root systems resulting in us being unable to remove the tree from your property safely.
  • Post-removal fill in of the removed plant is the responsibility of the homeowner unless fill in is contracted at time of purchase.


4. Cancellations & Rescheduling


Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Missed or last-minute cancellations may be subject to an additional service fee.



5. Changes to Terms


We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be made available on our website or upon request.
